How do I make Offly my home screen?
Install Offly and open it. Tap "Set as home screen" and choose Offly in the Android sheet that appears. To go back, open Offly settings and tap "Switch launcher", or use Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app.
A pause is blocking an app and I need it now.
Every blocked screen has "Open anyway" at the bottom. After a short ring you can continue. To change the rule itself, edit it in Settings; changes that loosen a rule take effect at midnight.
The grey screen won't turn on.
Grey screen needs Android's accessibility service. Go to Android Settings → Accessibility → Offly and switch it on, then return to Offly. Some phones (Xiaomi, Samsung) also need Offly excluded from battery optimisation so the service keeps running. Why the service is needed.
Notifications arrive late.
That's Digest or Wind-down holding them, as set. Turn either off in Settings → Focus if you'd rather get them at once. Calls and alarms are never held.
I hid an app for good and want it back.
Hiding for good has no undo, by design. Reinstall the app from Google Play; it will reappear in your app list.
Kids mode won't exit.
Hold the clock and enter your PIN or use your fingerprint. Three wrong tries lock the exit for a short while; wait and try again. If you've forgotten the PIN, restart the phone: kids mode stays on, but the reset option under the PIN screen becomes available after the lockout.
Can I use Offly on an iPhone?
No. iOS doesn't allow an app to replace the home screen, so Offly is Android-only.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Privacy → Delete my data removes everything on the phone. Details on the deletion page.
